Will barber shop be open before MNSSHP?

Will the barber shop be open around 5 pm before MNSHHP this Thursday? Thinking of getting my son's haircut before the party. Thinking they "tie" the haircut in with the pirate costume that he is wearing!!! (and he need a haircut) Never been in the barber shop so any tips are welcome.

I believe that the barbershop closes at 5PM everyday.

The barber shop does close at 5:00 every day, and is not open for special events. Be advised, now that the shop is in the front of the park, it tends to be very busy, with wait times approaching 30 minutes at times just to get into a chair.

So what are the chances of "getting a chair" if we get there at 4 pm? (Haircut, of course, is not critical....just thought it would be fun!)
