maybe I should post this somewhere else but if I buy an Ap over the phone now from disney will it in any way affect my present reservation through CRO? I think I recall if you bought tickets at the same time, it made it a"package" and thus through Disney Travel but can I buy it now that my res.is made and deposit in without changing it to Disney Travel? I assume it would not change anything as far as having to hope I can get an Ap discount when/if they ever come around, like the good fairy would automatically apply it .

Hi there!

No, purchasing an Annual Pass will not change your reservation through Central Reservations I am sure that you are already aware, but just in case you aren't - you will have to call back to CRO to have your reservation updated to an AP rate when they are released - it will not happen automatically (I wish it did!).

Also, one other note about purchasing AP's over the phone. Disney will not issue you the actual Annual Pass, they will issue you a voucher which will need to be exchanged when you arrive in WDW. Just FYI
