I heard its been replaced by The Secret of the Stone Tiger for the summer. Any idea if Aladdin and Jasmine's Story Tale Adventures will be returning in the Fall?

Thanks! :)

Where did you hear that? The Secret of the Stone Tiger was introduced last summer during the big Indy push when the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released. From all the reviews I read, it was not received well, and I would be really surprised if they brought it back this summer.

Unfortunately, I have heard nothing about the return of Aladdin & Jasmine's Storytime at the Oasis either. Sure seems like a waste of a great venue. :confused3

Yeah, something about Indy punching a woman while only 5 feet away from little kids just didn't quite "work" for people, including me! Even though she was a "bad guy"!

It was there LAST summer. Was closed in September. Doubt it'll be back. And A&J weren't brought back after the Indy show closed, so who knows if they'll ever be back either!

Another big empty spot on the map and they could do another show and sell treats there and do merchandising. If Walt were alive and running DLR he would be turning every empty spot into active spots that can be used for tie ins and merchandise/food sales. Matterhorn is tied to Third Man on the Mountain which was a Disney movie. I miss the dinner show so much. Do like the blue bayou and charge $30 for an all you can eat Polynesian dinner like Celebration Barbecue. You set down and they serve you gluten free and regular hawaian bread then out comes salad and side dishes like Ariels then teriyaki chicken, hawaiian style ribs, tofu and veggie plate, and then gluten/soy free desserts and a slab of coconut sorbet for everyone else. Ohana goes west would be fun, bring there menu out here.

I think if they bring something back it will be CMs which is cheap enough, a few props, and maybe even redecorate the place a touch. Cheap to start up and not much to run and merchandising is possible.

I read about it in a tour guide (The Secret of the Stone Tiger I mean)...but it could have been an old one from last summer. I was hoping they'd bring back the Aladdin show. Seems like a big waste not to use that venue for anything. Hope they plan something good in there soon. Thanks for the replies!

When I walked by there this week, I thought I saw a sign that said it was Aladdin and Jasmine. Maybe it was my imagination, but that's what I believe it said.

On a park map a friend sent me in February the location of Aladdin's Oasis is marked as a Meet & Greet spot.

We've seen Aladdin and Jasmine hanging out at the Oasis several times during out trip in November. I honestly can't remember if the meet & greet sign was there on the park map then. But looks like the Oasis was turned into an official character meeting point now.
