Will AKV become the new SSR?

I don't understand this idea that it's dark at AKL. I stayed at Jambo last Thanksgiving and I didn't think it was dark at all. True, it's not as bright as say POP, but I thought that the lighting was more than sufficient in the Jambo hallways. Yes, the savannahs were dark, but given the nocturnal nature of many of the animals I expect that. What kind of light levels are people expecting?

The decor is dark. The kitchen cabinets, the counter top, the furniture, the bathroom area, the villa as a whole has a darker decor than I prefer. I love the light pastel decors of OKW, BWV, BCV etc. It's only a personal preference which does not stop me from enjoying the savanna from time to time. I prefer a more beach/pastel decor when I vacation and DVC created different resorts to please us all. I fully understand that many like the AKV darker ambiance,to each his own. Just like the Treehouses have a rustic woodslike/cabin darker decor, not my fave but I'll try those at least once too!
