Will ADRs be cancelled if cc on file is no longer valid?

My credit card was just cancelled due to the Target breach. I used this card months ago to make dining reservations for an upcoming trip. I called Disney dining and they said my reservations were fine and they did not need updated credit card info. I am a little leery though. I don't want the reservations to be cancelled. I read online a story of someone's reservation being cancelled because their credit card was set to expire before their trip started.
Has anyone had to deal with this? Any advice? Should I call Disney back and speak to someone else?

I would put your mind at ease and call again and speak to someone else. I haven't had the issue myself, but when in doubt, just call them back. You will feel better when you do.

Sorry you have to go through this.

I'm in the very same boat. Made all of my ADR's using the card I used at Target that is now being cancelled/replaced. Not only that, I just realized the card will expire in July and the ADR's are for August (not that it matters now that they are replacing it).

If you have My Disney Experience just go in to the Profile and change your payment method. I set up MDE last summer for a fall trip, and this spring as I book ADR I don't put in any CC info, it pulls it from MDE.

Thanks for the advice. I will update MDE. I did call Disney back and the cast member I spoke to said the same thing. They could not update the credit card info because they would have to cancel all the reservations and rebook and it might not be possible to book the same restaurants/times. Just have to hope for the best.
Csjordan - I will post when I return and let you know how things went.

We have a cc lostl before our WDW trip last year. All our ADRs were booked on that card and I was nervous too, but we had no problem at all. We even had some coveted reservations (CRT, BOg, CM) and was mostly worried about those, but we had no trouble at all. The only thing that I could see possibly being a problem is if you no show at one of your early ADRs and they try to charge your card, then that *may* trigger something but even that's pretty doubtful. Don't worry, I'm sure you're one of thousands in that same position after the Target breech, and you're not hearing countless bad reports.

Thanks. This makes me feel better.
