Will a lanyard that holds a room card key with a hole punched

Work on the Radiance of the Sea? Or do you just hold the key next to something to open the door. I would like to use a lanyard.

I think Radiance uses mag stripes. If they’ve switched to rfid then guest services should have pouches for you to stick the card in and attach to your lanyard.

Boarding our cruise last month, RCCL had a table set up to punch a hole in your card with instructions where to put the whole. No problems swiping any where.
