This is a key point in deciding where we stay next year. We'll have a side by side double stroller. Will this fit on the monorail without having to fold it up?

Thanks.

I think all strollers need to be folded up. If not, there is only room for a single stroller.

single strollers need not be folded, you can roll them right on. of course if it's packed you might want to fold it to make room for your fellow travellers :).

a side by side will fit on the handicapped monorail cars. ask the cm at the station, he will know if they are occupied. if they are not, they will let you use them. of course you must vacate should the space be needed.

i took a sbs double in '05 and never had to fold it on the monorail, but we went in the very off season (jan).

OK, that helps. I was thinking abuot those handicapped spaces. I don't recall very many times when I came across those spaces being used on our last trip. If need be, we can always wait for the next train.

In 2003 we took our double stroller on the monorail with the kids in it and it fit just fine. We also went in value season.

HTH!

Our large Grayco double would not quite fit in a regular monorail car. It was maybe 1 inch too large, and had to be collapsed, at least partially.
