going from sept 10-18 and i am wondering if a crib rented from a babys best friend will fit into a beach club room? i rented one last year for when we stayed at the wilderness lodge, and the crib fit lengthwise right next to the TV armoire (to the left of the armoire as you are looking at it) so it was not in the way at all. when i look at the BC pics online, it is hard to see where it may fit...? i believe the cribs are @ 48-50" long....

my son will be 20 months old when we go, so i am also debating on getting bed rails, or just using the old standard pack n play that the resort gives you. he sleeps well in the pack n play at his grannys house.....HELP! what should i do?
thanks!

They fit in the Beach Club rooms just fine. . . we have been twice and each time it was no problem; well worth it in every aspect to have a full crib like home. We have too many friends who have tried something new on vacation (ie a bed or pack-n-play when a crib is used at home, etc.), each time a disaster. We know if the baby does not get a good nights' sleep, no one does.

Abbf cribs are the best. Definitely worth it.

the rooms there are Huge!!!! There will be plenty of space. I don't know how many are in your party, but if you can, try and get a king room, then there will be tons of space.

HitchhikingGhost,

How did you get the crib to and from your room? Did you use bell services? What did you tip for that? I would like to get one for our DS because I don't think he could sleep all night in a pak-n-play. We're not going till December and he hasn't spent much time in it yet (he's 6 months).

I would like more info about the cribs as well if anyone could share :D DD will be 22 months when we go but she developmentally behind. We tried having her sleep in the pack and play here as practice and it did not go very well and she is not one to cuddle with us to sleep. A crib would be perfect - she loves her's. Where do you get one? Are they clean? Expense? TIA :D

the website for a baby's best friend is www.abbf.com/index.html

You can rent just about anything from them, strollers, cribs, toys, highchairs, etc.... and they deliver right to your hotel room.

I would highly reccommend it..

Their toll free # is 1-888-461-2229.

A Baby's Best Friend will deliver any items you order right to the luggage room, each item being in a protective wrap and labeled with your name and arrival date. They even called my cell phone as soon as it was delivered to advise me the bin # it was in at the luggage room.

Getting it to our room was no big deal, bell services wheeled it up on the luggage cart, and I tipped around $3-4 I think. Same for when we checked out, but per ABBF's request, I made sure bell services was on the way back to the luggage room with it before we left the room; we did not leave the items in our room.

ABBF no longer delivers to your room, (for several reasons and no fault of their own, and they will explain if you ask), but the cribs we have had since are real easy to assemble and I didn't need any tools. A very nice clean, safe, sturdy crib. . . it was worth 5-10 minutes of my time. The full mattress and bedding were great also.

Check out their site www.abbf.com or call them at 1-888-461-2229. They are most pleasant and always very helpful. We would not go to WDW without ordering from them.

HTH!
