Will 8 days be enough?

Just wondering if 8 days for both parks will be plenty of time to do everything without having to rush? Plus one day for DTD. Plus another for sleeping in, then heading home.

8 days should be more then enough! :thumbsup2 Were going for 5 days this month and that will be plenty for us to do it all! :lmao:

Plenty of time to take it SLOW! I don't really think DTD warrents a whole day though.

That will definitely be enough time. You will be able to ride the rides several times. I also agree that you won't need a whole day at DTD. There are many shops and things to look at but not really a whole days worth.

Eight days is plenty. I agree with stagemom, DTD doesn't need an entire day. Besides, DTD comes alive at night.

Are you doing anything besides Disney? Eight days is MORE than enough. You'll probably find that you have a couple of days to do something else like go to the beach, or down to San Diego or something.

We did 8 days last year, and we're going back this year for another 8! For us, that amount of time is just perfect.

:cloud9:

It was brilliant - we were traveling with our 3 year old, and were able to slow down and take things at his pace. The end result was ZERO meltdowns, and nothing but an amazing trip! :thumbsup2 I was initially worried that it was too much time, but it was just perfect - we didn't have to rush because we knew we had the time, and were also able to do the things we loved over and over again. It also gave us a chance to try lots of different restaurants, and take the time to enjoy all the shows, parades, etc. that sometimes have to be missed when you have less time.

We felt satisfied with our time at the end of the trip - but even after the 8 nights, were more than ready to go back again just a few weeks later! ;) Sadly, that wasn't an option, but that's why we're already making plans for our trip in Nov/Dec this year.

I would think so. We do 5 and have had no problems doing what we wish as many times we wish. Have fun.

I think it depends on your family size, ages of child(ren) and how many times you have been to DL. For most people 4-5 days is plenty to experience everything, including a "down time day" in the middle to enjoy the hotel pool, take in a movie at DTD, relax, check out other sites. 8 days is a lot! You will be able to visit fav's multiple times and really enjoy every little thing. Have a great time:)

I will say that 8 days is too much for me. After day four, we'd start to get bored. (we always go in the least crowded seasons). I would definately cut it to 4 or 5 days then go do some other things like Universal, stuff in San Diego (sea world), or Magic Mountain.

Eight days should be good. Especially if you have little ones and have to do the rider switch on the big rides. And if you need to go back to the hotel for a nap. If you are all tall enough for the big rides and use the fast passes, 8 days will be more than enough. Even during the busy summer time.

Make sure and make a priority seating for Blue Bayou and Character breakfasts so you can get a good time.

Have fun.
