Thinking of buying the 7 day pass. We will be in Kissimmee for a week and thought we could go back and forth to the parks and not do a marothon day or 2. Parking will sure add up. Is there a bus that goes to the park?

What attractions would we like?

thanks so much for any info!

Both of my parents are in their 70's. My mom does all of the rides and my dad avoids the rollercoasters.

When my parents accompany my wife and I on a trip to Universal, the only rides that we definitely avoid are mostly the kid oriented rides: One Fish, Two Fish; The Caro-Suess-el; Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone; etc. We also avoid Stormforce Acceleration. Sometimes, we'll skip the water rides when we don't want to get wet.

i know many 60 year olds that love universal.

depending on what hotel you are staying at in K town, will determine if they provide free or cheap shuttles to universal.

you said you would like to do 2 days, if i read your statement correctly.
that won't be too much for a couple of days.

if you thought you would be back again within the next 12 months, you could buy the AP and get free admission, 10% discount off of food and merch in the parks and city walk(some places) and free parking.

only one discount would be needed for your family for those benefits.
then only one would have to buy the 7 day pass.

We will be staying at Vacation Village at Parkway, a timeshare.
What are the favorite things to do for our age. We are quite active. I rode the hulk roller coaster a few years ago, and think I will pass on that this time. I don't want to have to rent a locker for every ride.

Please keep the suggestions for the attractions that we will love, coming!

you can do all the rides and shows as long as you meet the height requirements.

If you are going to avoid Hulk, you might want to avoid Dueling Dragons as well. You will probably enjoy the rest.

Storm Force Acceletron is a spinning ride that I've never ridden in my multiple times there. Just looking at it makes me ill.

Good news is the quick answer is almost everything. I am a coaster nut, but I too don't do the Hulk or DD that often, maybe 1 time a trip, due to the fact that they are a little too G-forcy for me.

My favorite rides, which are easy on the body are: Spiderman, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Poisiedens Fury (show) all at IOA, (however, the IOA park is beautifully themed and you may want to spend alot of time just exploring) at the main universal park, the Mummy, Men In Black, Twister (tornado simulator show), jaws, ET, Terminator, and there is a new coaster there Rip Ride Rocket, that you may check out, I have not had a chance to ride it yet, mixed results, some say its very smooth, some say not so much.

I'm amazed that regardless of how packed IOA is, the area between Seuss Landing and the center lake (Sneetch Beach) has only a few people exploring it.

my parents love US & IOA, dads in his 60's & mom is in her 50's, they both love it and look forward to going every time. Plus it's great excercise walking around the park

Yeah me too, :thumbsup2 actually most areas off the main paths are usually clear of people, its truely a gorgeous place, I love all the theming it really puts you in another world. Its an architectural masterpiece IMO.

Hey now, let's not let too many people know about my short-cut from the entrance to Mythos!!!:cool2:

It really is a great area and the theming is wonderful.

Is it a good place to eat?? We are very active and work out etc.

Keep the good advice and inside secrets coming!! What else do you love about these parks??

Mythos is the BEST place to eat if you want a sit down restaurant. It has been voted the best theme park restaurant for many years. Although...it's not what you expect to find in a theme park. Great atmosphere, wonderful creative food, good service. Plan a lunch there!
