Will 4 yr old need stroller?

I would definately say yes.

We took one last year for our smallest boy who was then nearly 3 and we ended up buying one from Walmart for my other son who was nearly 5.

It is very hard work on their little legs and the heat doesnt help. Sometimes they wanted to sit in them sometimes they didnt but they had the choice.

The one we purchased was from Walmart and was very good value (especially compared to the price we pay for them over here in the uk!).

We are going back this September and my two will be 4(Disney birthday! :cloud9: ) and nearly 6 and they will once again both need a buggy(stroller).

We were just there for 8 days and had two strollers for our dds. The oldest is almost 5 the youngest almost 2. I would say it is worth it to rent one or to take one to use. We have one combi and one maclaren which we love. They are a touch sturdier than an umbrella stroller and I think they handle better but they fold just as small and just as easily. We are short so I have never had problems with back pain from pushing them but the wrists sometimes get sore as I have carpal tunnel. Ours were used everyday and in every park. They were necessary at the end of the night to get sleeping children to the bus stop and we would not have managed without them. I say take one and be happy.....just watch out for all the inconsiderate ppl who attempt to trample them in an run to get somewhere 10 seconds sooner than you!!!

Bring the stroller. DS is 5 and we still bring the stroller for him. It's always hot and it's a lot of walking. He tends to ride later in the day. :thumbsup2

The last time we went our children were 5 and 8. we rented a double stroller for them and boy was it a blessing. There were times that one rode, one walked. Sometimes they both rode. It was good for putting water bottles, sunscreen ect. in, so we didnt have to carry it. They always had a place to sit while waiting on parades. They youngest even took a short nap while walking around. I dont think we could have made it 5 days in the parks with out it.
:tinker:

Thank you all for your advice. I think we will take the stroller with us. In case we decide to rent one instead, are there plenty of strollers to rent throughout the day? We are not morning people so I doubt we will make it to the park right at opening time. Thanks

My DD will be almost 7 when we go (thankfully, a very LIGHT almost 7) and we'll be renting a stroller for her for sure. with DH in an ECV there's no way we could expect her to keep up at a light jog all day for 9 days. I double checked with her and of course she says "duh, maaaaaaah, why should I walk when you can push me?"

Little ingrate. :lmao:
