My inlaws have booked an accessible room at POFQ and will be renting scooters from a non Disney company, their travel agent has handled the reservations. Will they be able to fit both of the scooters inside their room and be able to move around or will the hotel be able to store them? We have never traveled with them using ECVs but they were essentially room bound when they went to Disney this past summer b/c of FIL's breathing/heart problems and MIL's weight/athritis.

Yes, they will be able to fit the two ECVs in the room. However, I would suggest bringing either a power strip or extension cord that is about six feet long. This may be necessary in getting the power cords from both to be able to plugged in overnight for recharging.

I just returned from Pop Century and saw several parties of 2 on scooters enter the same room- one was a mother and daughter and another a male/female older couple. I guess they had no problems and they were not in accessible rooms either. ( You can tell as there is no lowered "peep hole" in the door.) The rooms at POFQ are quite a bit larger so you'll be fine. I agree with Cheshire Figment to bring a power strip for charging.---Kathy

My mom and I stayed at POFQ 2 years ago and both needed ECVs. It worked fine, plenty of room. Extension cords will help though. :goodvibes
