Wilderness Villa how close to lodge?

If you stay at the Wilderness Villa is it basically the same as staying at the Wilderness Lodge? I understand that they share pools, lobby etc. If you are in a Villa are you far far away from the main lodge or close by??

Its the same walk. Just from the right instead of the left. And you do it under a covered walkway instead of inside. Plus you are closer to the bus stop....

From the WL lobby to the Villas entrance is about a two minute walk - covered and very pleasant. From the back door of the Villas building to the main WL pool is probably a two or three minute walk. The walk from the entrance of the Villas building to your room may take a half hour!!! I'm exaggerating, of course - but the hallways are long. It really could take four or five minutes to get to your room - if you are at the end of the hall, like we have always been. Wouldn't you know it, even when our baby was totally quiet the entire day, he'd start crying just as we started walking down that loooooooooong, quiet hallway.

Really, being at the Villas is great. It is just as if you are staying at the lodge, you just have your own secluded corner. Soooooo peaceful .
