If you request "high floor, North Wing" and book a woods view, you could get a really great view of Cinderella castle and Wishes. :goodvibes

WL is the best!!! Enjoy!

There are two types of balconies at WL. There are the standard balconies with railings you can see through, and there are dormer balconies with solid walls. The dormer balcony walls are high enough that you can't see out if you are sitting down - but the reverse is also true. They are very private, which I like. There are patios for the ground floor rooms. So if any of these alternatives make a difference, request a top floor or dormer balcony, a mid-level or regular balcony, or a ground floor room for a patio.

The south side is closer to the bus stop, and the north side is closer to the MK boat - but neither is a super long walk.

View wise you are kind of restricted by the room type you booked. If you booked courtyard and want a more private room, ask for either the VWL courtyard or to be close to the lobby. If you are in a courtyard view overlooking the main pool, it can get noisy sometimes and I wasn't particularly fond of the pool lighting at night. That being said, I haven't really had a "bad" view at WL, although that could be because I avoid the standard view rooms (which have some notoriously bad roof views if you're unlucky).
