After much thought (couldn't decide which hotel to go for) I have booked 14 nights Woods View at Wilderness Lodge with the free dining plan upgraded to deluxe, the 14 day ultimate ticket for the price of 7 day ticket and $200 gift certificate.

Congrats!! I spent 10 nights at WL last month and had a great time. I didn't have any issues with noise from the room renovations, but some people have, so if noise might be an issue for you (and the renovations aren't finished when you arrive), ask to be in as quiet an area as possible when you check in.

In the OPs info it lists that they live in the UK, 14 day tickets are available for those guests that live in the UK

Thats right we have the 14 day ultimate ticket with park hopping and the water parks and the 21 day ultimate ticket.

Sounds great! We love WL too! When you check in ask about being a flag family! Last January we signed up for the Ft. Wilderness Segway tour, it was awesome! There is a walking path from WL to FW, or a boat.
