Wilderness Lodge-WHICH ROOM IS BEST TO STAY?

If we still stick with Wilderness Lodge which it is still HIGH on our list of choices along with the BEACH CLUB AND BOARDWALK, which is THE BEST room location in your opinion? I don't want a parking lot/service area view. I would like a balcony where we can sit each morning/evening and enjoy coffee or wine and have something nice to look at. How big are the balconies? 2 chairs? I just want a nice view of something to look at, not obstructed views. Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks again DISBOARDERS

We just returned from the Wilderness Lodge! Its beautiful! We had a courtyard view and were in the north wing, 4th floor. The courtyard views are the nicest. I would ask for a view of the main pool or you could end up with a view of the villas (not as nice in my opinion). The north wing will put you closer to Roaring Fork and the laundry room but the south wing I think probably has better views. We were also on the 4th floor, but we had a "woods" view (#4140). We wanted a quiet peaceful room (it was our honeymoon), and the room was definitely quiet! We faced the Villas and the villas pool, and even with the balcony doors open it was incredibly quiet.

Also, being on that side, we could take a back staircase/elevator to get to a shortcut to the buses.

The rooms right across the hall - ex. 4141 - were quite noisy as they overlooked the main pool.

We stayed conceirge and the view was not impressive during the day - but at night - the MK fire works - well worth it.
