Wilderness Lodge Vs. Polynesian - What Would A 3 Year Old Do?

So I'm having a discussion with my DS3 this morning about Disney World. And I tell him that the next time we go we're going to stay at the WL. He says, "No mommy, we have to stay at the Polynesian." I said, "Why?" And he said "So I can get a bagel and cream cheese at Captain Cook's." Then I tell him he can get a bagel and cream cheese at Roaring Fork and he says, "No I can't. They have nothing there!"


Where do kids come up with this stuff?

I hope he's not TOO disappointed when we walk into the WL next October. Maybe by then he'll forget his love of the Polynesian? (At least temporarily!)

My 3 year old loved the bridge over the river inside the building. She loved the totem poles. She loved the geyser and the fireplace. She also liked the kiddie pool and played in it even when she was older and could swim like a fish.

Aww,once he gets there i'm sure he will be fine. My DD is very much like this--if we did it once, it's a tradition. And all traditions must be honored. All the time.

Once he gets a load of Whispering Canyon cafe he won't want to go anywhere else.

My 5yo nephew had a fit when he heard they were staying at the Poly. He wanted to stay at All Star Movies again. He forgot all about the Buzz & Woody building at ASMO as soon as they pulled up to the Poly.

Rest assured, he is a 3 year old going to Walt Disney World, all will be fine!

What is it with kids and the Poly? My six year old voted for the Poly on the last couple of trips as well...I finally gave in this time, even though I personally wanted the Grand Floridian. He just couldn't get over the fascination of that smoking volcano and building sand castles on the beach with other kids....but he's got me excited now, too
