Wilderness Lodge Villas

I have a studio booked at the Wilderness Lodge Villas and was wondering how the studio's are set up. There will be 4 of us in the room, and we need to have the sink on the outside of the bathroom. If anyone has stayed in the studio's could you please let me know your thoughts on having 2 adults and 2 teens in a room.

My wife and I stayed in a studio at VWL in 2008. You can see our pictures on Webshots. PM me if you can't find them. It was not the dumpster view. We thought it was fine as far as size.. She thought the decor was kind of dark compared to the bright colors at OKW. We both enjoyed it and really have no complaints. The size was just fine. I just wish they had grand villas there. I love the resort as a whole and wish we could stay there more then we do...smjj

all studios (even OKW) have at least one sink outside the bathroom - it is in the kitchennett.

but VWL is set up like BWV, BCV, SSR, AKV - it's sink is outside the bathroom. this is funny - everyone is upset about BLT - but it also has it outside the bathroom.

guess the difference is - in all others (except OKW) it is next door - not down the hall to the bathroom sink.

Last year we stayed in a studio at VWL. It was just the 2 of us and then we got a call from my son saying he was coming to visit and bringing his girlfriend. It was a little crowded, but we managed. Everyone just has to be considerate since it is tight. Enjoy your trip.

We have never stayed at any MK resorts, only Epcot resorts. I have a couple of questions for the experts out there. Is it possible to walk from WL to the Contemporary? Where is WL on the bus transpo stop sched. What I mean is...who gets picked up first and how many resorts are included with the WL run. I hope that wasn't too confusing

You cannot walk to the Contemporary, but there is boat service to the Contemporary, MK and Ft. Wilderness.

When the WL has to share busses, it is not with the Contemporary it is with Fort Wilderness. However, at busy times WL has its own busses.

Nope, nowhere near Epcot and DHS. It only goes to MK, CR, FW and WL depending on which boat you take. There are two types of boats, though. One similar to the Friendships that go around the Epcot resorts and another smaller one where you cannot roll a stroller on the boat and it is difficult to get wheelchairs on the boat.

OP, the studio will be a bit tight for the four of you. You'll have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa.

There is also a loop that visits WL, Contemporary, and Ft. Wilderness. The order is different at different times of the day.

WL shares a bus to Epcot with FW. They often share a bus to DHS and AK with GF. And along with the direct boat service to MK they also have direct bus service. WL is the first stop in the loop to/from the parks but of course when people are returning back to their resort then there may already be people on the bus waiting to get off at either FW or GF.

For our stay last week, the DS bus was also shared with Ft. Wilderness. We only drove to AK, so I don't know what they were doing there.

There really isn't much in the way of room requests. Other than higher floor, pool view. Most of the villas have a woods view.

What I meant was were the boats like the Friendships not if they went to Epcot. You did answer that question though. Thanks
