Hi there! Planning our trip for August 2017 - first time at WLV - renting points In my quick internet search - I am finding that the Lake View Rooms are providing a distant view of MK due to many trees being down. Has anyone stayed there recently and able to provide feedback? We rented a studio - looking for possible room requests

I actually had the same question when I booked WLV last week. I think most rooms have the woods view and some have a partial view, so I would defiantly call and request it. There are some rooms, though, in the regular WL resort that have a partial view of MK.

If renting points, a room request needs to go via the DVC owner. You can't add it to your reservation yourself, save through online check-in. The online check-in options are very limited.

I stayed at VWL once with a lake view through some trees. I can't imagine how that could also be a MK view, it faced Bay Lake. I think some of the lake views in the lodge on the north side would have a MK view and possibly some of the villa rooms facing the bus stop.

Well, there's a reason VWL doesn't have bookable views. Much like BCV.
