Wilderness Lodge Villas, requests??

Is there any special request I should make for our up coming stay at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge?? This is our first Villas stay and was wondering if there was any special rooms I shuold request. Please help! Doing online registration now.

You aren't going to be able to make specific room requests when checking in online. You should make any and all requests when booking. You can ask what may be available upon resort checkin if you find that you don't like where your room is located.

I was curious because there is a section on the online reservation that has "special request".

That section is pretty much for medical issues.

Also, to the OP's question about what to request, please tell us what is important to you. Are you looking for something near the bus stop? The main building? Something more remote (quieter)?

I have been Dvc since 2003 and WLV being my home Resort.

My requests tend to be-

Top Floor ( I like the Height for great views.

The lake/ tree Views.
are mostly of trees and they are pretty close together so dont see much lake, and if you don't like getting bitten then don't ask for this.

Looking onto the DVC pool- Which looks over the lake slightly at the back.
( is a decent Request but you may see some trees)

Looking onto the Bus stop area.
- is actually a great Request as you don't actually see the Bus stop as it has a lovely area of trees and grass with great Sunshine most of the Day.

So Top floor and looking onto the Bus Area. Perfect.

Check out this link from an OP on the Dis- the person has everything WL and at the end you will see the Villas at WL with the Room numbers and the areas they look onto and the colour according to the room size. The 2nd Floor is the same for 3/4th floors.

Sorry, should have added more detail. Thinking pool view and upper levels. My kids are not small and are heavy sleepers, noise not too much an issue.

I went ahead and did the online check in. So can I still make a special request when I arrive??

When you arrive is too late since your room will likely already be assigned. Call now and have your request noted on the reservation. Yes, you can still do this even though you've done online check in. Just say something simple like "pool view, top floor" so that the room assigner knows what is important to you.

Called and made a request for a higher level floor with a courtyard view! Hoping for some pixie dust on this one! Thanks

The Dvc pool view is really the courtyard view with Dvc rooms.
The main hotel rooms only look onto the main Courtyard pools area.

If you see the photos on the link for Dvc from my post, you will see the smaller building on the plan is the Dvc building and the areas around it.
