Wilderness Lodge resort & concierge review **PICS ADDED on Page 2!**

Thank you for your trip report and pics of the WL. I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay.

The 4 Honeymoon suites on the 7th Floor are on "top of" the check in desk and Whispering Canyon. 2 on each side. The doors of the Honeymoon suites open up to the seating area of the Concierge floor and the railing that overlooks the lobby. Each Suite has a King Bed with and the bathroom has an enormous HUGE tub.
Loved the tub, can't wait to go back someday.

Looking at your pictures brought back great memories. WL is my DHs favorite resort at Disney and I love it there, too. I'm glad you had a nice stay!

I may be loony but it sure looked like there was a fire going in the fireplace. I remember they had one lit when we were there in March one year...but July??!! Maybe they had the a/c turned way down low... :rotfl:

thanks so much for the new lounge pictures, we were anxiously awaiting them! It sounds like your trip was wonderful!

YES!! There really was a fire going in the fireplace, that's why I took those pictures. :teeth: I didn't feel it giving off any heat though.

Seaspray,

Thanks for the great reviews and photos! They have me so excited for our trip in Dec. We decided to add a few days before our first Disney cruise in Jan. Could you tell me what some of the food offerings were in CL? :goodvibes

In the morning there was orange juice and apple juice, bagels and bread that you could toast (there was a toaster out nearby), 3 different kinds of mini-muffins (chocolate, blueberry, corn), a couple of types of cold cereal, whole milk and low fat milk, apples, oranges, bananas, coffee, and a variety of tea bags.

In the afternoons I saw lemonade, iced tea, cans of soda (Coke products), pretzels, fruit, and cookies.

In the evenings they always had a huge platter of different kinds of cheese cubes, several different kinds of crackers, veggies and dip, and a couple of hot items. We missed this a few times, but the one night we stopped there in the evening they had "Cowboy Chili" and potato and cheese soup, both of which were very good. They also had a bowl of cut-up fruit. We never quite made it back to the resort for the dessert offerings, so I can't comment firsthand on what they had. Oh, during the evening offerings they also had out 2-3 different kinds of wine, and beer.
