Wilderness Lodge - renovations ?

Where is WL right now in their renovations timeline? Anyone know? Especially since this closure has now put off renovations. I booked a room in Dec and was wondering how far along they are right now as it stands. I saw a room tour of the new rooms and love them!

I believe that the DVC buildings are updated on a completely separate timeline. I don't think that WL update has any bearing on the Boulder Ridge building.

We stayed on 4th floor at WL closure week on the side with a Contemporary view and it was a nonstop buzzing, hammering, all day. So much that we complained and got $100 off a night.

Im on the lookout for the same exact information! But my stay is in September. Ive read in a couple different spots that it was supposed to be done either end of summer, or fall. But now with corona Id love to know how far along theyve gotten, and have they definitely stopped hotel renovations?

The lastest update that I heard was that they were working on the 6th floor having finished the 7th floor. However all renovation work was stopped last month and has not restarted.

They were actively working on the fifth floor (wing closer to MK) when I was there closing week in March.

BRV was renovated in 2015. It's next renovation will start next year. If I understand everything correctly (no promises) it will mostly be in 2022.

It was actually moved forward to this year for a hardgoods. 2015 was technically a full refurb only we all know it wasn't.

I suspect it is being pushed back again now, however.r
