Wilderness Lodge Questions?

I am going to stay at the WL May 15-20 and was wondering about the transportation situation there. I have heard good and bad things. Has anyone stayed here at this time of year and how are the crowds at the theme parks in the middle of may?

I believe they share bus transportation with Poly & GF.

You take a boat to MK.

Transportation is no that bad. The boat is very convenient.

We were there in November last year and transportation was fine. We didn't have to wait very long for any bus. Matter of fact, I think we waited longer for the boats than the buses. The boats are really nice and very relaxing.

We were at the WL about the same time last year and had no problems with the transportation. We loved the boats...don't forget you can take the smaller boat over to the Contemp and pick up the monorail too.

The crowds were great last year...wishing you the same.

You said it yourself. "some good things and some bad things". Its always going to be like that no matter where you stay. Theres going to be some days where things just dont go right, but there are people that will label a certain resort by one bad experience they had with transportaion, housekeeping, etc. Pick a resort you like and chances are youll have a great time.

The bus from WL to EPCOT goes nonstop and takes from 10-15 minutes(not counting waiting time). As said before the AKL and MGM bus stops at GF and Poly. The boat ride to the MK from the WL takes 7-10 minutes dock to dock. We have stayed at WL 13 times and have found the transportation to be fine.
