Has anyone ever stayed on the second floor at wl and what was it like???

It was fine. WE were in 2002 and it was very quiet. We had a view of the woods, and the walkway going to the dock. It was a bit of a hike from the elevator, but we were one room away from the steps to go down and out the door by the pool. We loved it!
We could also watch the EWP every night from our balcony!

Potatoe Stix-was your room in the north wing and did you face north or Bay Lake? (I would assume north since you said you had a view of the woods?-but you had a partial lake view to see the EWP??)

We were right by the elevators last time we stayed in the north wing and it was really noisey, I'd like a nice quieter room next time even if we have a little more of a walk to the elevators. I'd like to request a room near where you were.
