Wilderness Lodge question

Hi. We leave in 8 days and I have a courtyard view, bunk bed room booked at the wilderness lodge. I just called today and put in a request for a courtyard view facing the lobby. But I've been reading, and now I think that the rooms facing the lobby aren't bunk bed rooms.

Does anyone know for sure if this is true? Because if it is I think I am going to call back and just ask for an inner courtyard view. We definitely want the bunk beds, because my kids will just fight all night if they have to sleep in a bed together.

I don't know about the Bunk Bed rooms overlooking the lobby, but I would definitely ask for the inner courtyard view. There are bunk bed rooms with inner courtyard view. We had a great room on the 5th or 6th floor with a balcony overlooking the pool. We could also see MK fireworks and the EWP. The balcony had a high barrier which was fine with me because of my fear of heights.
We were originally given a courtyard view of the VWL pool, which was pretty but a misnomer. I think if you are paying for a courtyard view, it should be of the main inner courtyard. I had never asked to move my room before, but this time I did and was glad to change. Have a great time. We loved the WL!

If you booked and paid for a courtyard view with bunkbeds, you should get just that because bunkbeds are now their own category, so I wouldn't worry about not getting them. Your request of what type of courtyard view is just a request, and will be based upon availability.
