Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

Thinking of upgrading from POFQ never stayed at WL, what kind of views do standard rooms have & do any if them have balconies?

GrandCalifornian did a wonderful job answering your questions so I just want to also invite you over to the WL/VWL thread anytime. There are photos on the first page of the STD view on the other side of the resort, the North Wing, which face out and up toward the CR, MK. If you have a high enough floor, you can see some of Wishes, but as GC said, when you look down, you will see the Smokehouse and some delivery trucks, which beep when they back-up.

Everyone on the thread is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have.

Thank you for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed them. It is nice to be 'in' Disney World every day in a small way through pictures and videos.

We have only stayed at Wilderness Lodge once, but we're staying there again in December. We visit often, though, to eat and/or take pictures. Whispering Canyon is my oldest son's #1 dining request for the December trip.

VWL is our DVC home resort - love it so much. As I was scrolling through the last set of images, I kept expecting to see Ranger Stan standing there by the desk. Even though he is gone now he will always be a part of our beloved Wilderness Lodge.

I booked WL for my 40th birthday! I have always wanted to stay here. Only 421 days to go until my family and I get to visit. Looking at all the pictures makes me want to go tomorrow.

Right now my plan is to stay here next September, I know planning before this Septembers vacation! Here's my dilemma....I have not been to WDW during the holiday season in about 20 years and would love to go back during that time of year but still go back next September. Now I have to figure out how to make both of those times work!!
