Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

I am hoping to stay at WL in December of this year. Can't wait to catch up on all these pictures and tips! :)

Is that the villas? That bathroom looks different. :confused3 I found a picture on a photo thread & the hairdryer was on a shelf-just like the Poly...not like the one in this picture. Any one will be fine. I just wanted to be sure they have them there:goodvibes

Our room overlooked the villas lobby.:cool1: Check out page 64 on this thread for the entire room photos.

Hoping to stay at WL this May if the AP codes are just right, right now we are at POFQ, which I love but nothing screams HOME like the WL!

I have pictures of one of my daughters and a friend, sitting in the villas lobby in their PJs doing homework one trip.:rotfl:

Disneynutz..are you a DVC owner? My husband would LOVE this!!! I think of any DVC places this one looks to be the best. Not in the budget now-maybe someday, ahhhhh.......

We initially bought at SSR and we were able to book the VWL at the 7 month window in Sept. When we tried to book the VWL in December at the 7 month window, it was all booked up. We sold SSR and bought VWL and have never looked back. We love DVC especially at the WL.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Disneynuts - I did the same thing except instead of SSR it was OKW. I purchased OKW on a resale in 1999 and initially stayed at the WLV right after it was built and then a couple of years later continued to book there until the Christmas of 2005:santa:. I tried to book at the 7 month window and waitlisted the first 10 days of December but it never came through until we were half way through our 10 day vacation at SSR. Needless to say we moved to VWL on day 5 but I came home that Christmas, sold OKW and purchased WLV and I too have never looked back. Don't get me wrong, I like OKW and SSR but I got bit by the WL bug! I am going to start calling on Monday to make my December 2009 ressie in a dedicated 2 bedroom to take my sister, BIL, and two nieces. I can't wait.

WL experts -

Hi! I've posted this a couple times on the WL thread but have had no luck yet w/ a response. Please help! :flower3:

To get a king bed room w/ full bath (not a disabled access room), we'd need to book woodsview, would that be right? Also, any tips on what woodsview room area to request?

Any help appreciated, we're trying to choose btwn WL and CBR.

If anyone's stayed at both CBR & WL, can you please compare the pool areas?

Thanks!

I agree 100%. I must return to WL for more photos ASAP.:thumbsup2 Which ultimately will still be next Dec.:lmao: DW and I are taking a 7 night Alaskan cruise in June, so our calendars (and wallets) are stretched thin enough, without adding an imprompto WDW trip.:rotfl:

I AGREE!
I've enjoyed your photos and thorough knowledge of all things WL and VWL :)

I could spend an entire trip just walking around and photgraphing the WL.:cool1: And usually do:rotfl: DW and I just LOVE the Wl and love sharing the photos of our trips.:thumbsup2
