This will be our 1st stay at WL. We let our DS pick this year...I'm an AKL girl myself. My kids are loving the pictures and they are really putting me in the mood for staying here.

Looks like you were just off the walkway between the main lodge and the villas lobby. Did you notice much extra noise due to being near the walkway? I have wondered how it was for those persons who were assigned there? Now I know someone who can speak from experience Glad you had a great trip. Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos. Can't wait to see more. We have five more months before our next trip HOME

You know, I was really worried about that too when I saw our room location - I'm a VERY light sleeper! But I can honestly say it didn't bother us at all! We didn't get back to our room until midnight most nights; but usually didn't get up until 8ish in the am - was never woken up by noise outside. And it was GREAT having such a short walk to the bus stops and main lobby. Our room # was 1510 - right across from the guest laundry and two doors away from one of those special side exits doors that you can only open with a room key after 11pm. Both DD and I commented on how quiet it always seemed to be!

I just like to be able to sleep in on the occassional morning when I need to. It's those days that I really don't want to be hearing kids running and screaming down the hallways at 7 a.m - fortunately it was never a problem here. Very quiet!
