Dolphin Jr. Suite for a family of 4 (Hubby's family) for Christmas holiday. Mommy, Daddy, Ashley 8, Amanda 6? They have stayed at almost every deluxe at the World and were told by the travel agent that Wildreness Lodge is really not "deluxe". I know I am bound to get lots of responses and ideas, but hey that is why I am asking. She can sort through the answers.... I am very content to stay at the BWV. Thanks in advance for all your help and comments...good or bad!!!

BTW....cost is NOT a factor.....

I have stayed in a Jr. Suite at WL and at the Dolphin though only in a regular room. Both are great and I loved the Jr. Suite at the WL. The WL is definately a Deluxe resort. I thought the service there was better than at the GF. Some people may think it is not deluxe because of the rustic woodsy theme. I do not know the size of the suite at the Dolphin but at WL the Jr's are around 500 square feet. There are french doors covered by sheer curtains that divide the Living room and the bedroom. You can acess the vanity area and bathroom from the entrance way and the bedroom. There is a full balcony off of the living room and a standing room only off of the bedroom. The suite has many windows.
She can compare that with any reviews of the Dolphin Jr. Suite and see how she feels. If you will be at the BWV it would be more convenient for all if they stayed at the Dolphin.

I haven't stayed at the Dolphin but we did stay at a WL junior suite last year. We loved it 3 adults & 1 child and it was perfect for us. We were right by the boat dock and could see and hear the geyser from our room. We also had a great view of the electric water pageant and enjoyed it very much. I guess though overall the WL just fits us more. I've seen S&D from the outside and it just doesn't seem like our style although I know a lot of people love it. It just seems too hotelish to be at Disney so I'd pick WL over them. WL is a deluxe hotel and the staff was great - we even got free room service one night during a horrible downpour. I don't know how we got it but we did and the mousekeepers were great as well. I will say the rooms seemed dark when we first arrived but all the curtains were closed and opening them up really helped. Good luck for your hubby's family with their decision!

For the great info... I will pass this along.
Liz
