Wilderness Lodge/Great Wolf Lodge

Has anyone stayed at both of these resorts? I know there are also Bear Lodges. We live 2 hours away from a Great Wolf Lodge and I am wondering if they are so similar I should skip the WL and stay pick a different resort?

Sorry I don't know Great Wolf Lodge. But we never eat at Rainforest cafe because we have one here. However after taking a peak online at it, i would say that they are similar in themeing but Disney does it way better. So if you love the GWL that you'll really love the WL.

We've been to the great wolf at the Dells, and I have to say that WL is 1000000000000000000 times better. The waterpark is better at the great wolf then the slide at WL but that is it. The details that disney puts into the lodge is way better. the rooms are a bit smaller than great wolf but the rest of the lodge and the resturants are a ton nicer.

Well, as you can see by my name...i just LOVE the WL! BUT...I think I am so crazy about it cuz I am native to South Florida...so I appreciate that "woodsy" feel. I could see where you may want to stay somewhere that has more of a tropical feel. Just keep that in mind when you make your resort selection.

I am sure you will have a blast whatever you choose!
