What's the best way to get to the WL from MK? I thought that I read there was a boat, but where do you get on? The same area as the monorails?

TIA!

Boat. Go out the MK entrance and look down to the water between the monorail and the Ferryboat. There is a dock for smaller boats. One is for Ft. Wilderness/Wilderness Lodge.

If you go to local.live.com you can zoom in on the Magic Kingdom and see the Green Dock directly south of the bag check area.

it's not near the monorails at MK. it's on the side closer to the buses, it's next to the one for the TTC ferry - it'll say resort launches.

note there is also a bus (stop #1 at MK) which can be a quicker option.

also note the boat changes its route throughout the day. in the morning, it'll go from FW -> WL -> MK. in mid-afternoon, it switches to MK -> WL -> FW

so if you're going from MK to WL in the morning, or going from WL to the MK in the evening, the bus will be much quicker

The above highlighted in bold red is incorrect. The routes have changed effective 11/16/07. Also, the red and green flag boats serving the WL and FWC, respectively, leave from the center-most dock (not next to the ferry boat dock) that is directly in front of the entrance to MK security.

well that's good to know.. except i didn't see any red flag boats when i was there (i left nov 18). i still had to take the green ones which went to all 3 locations.

but if that's how it is now, good to know.

are you sure it's permanent and not just seasonal?
