Wilderness Lodge Flag Family

Can you pre register to be a flag family or is it just the luck of the draw when checking in?

If you can pre register where and how would you do this?

If not could this be a part of your requests when you check in on line?

We have an eight year old who would be blown awayby this.

You need to ask at check in. They will get a sign up notebook out from concierge (at least that's what they did for us) that has all the upcoming dates in it and you sign up then for the first available opening.

It helps if your stay is longer... for example we checked in on December 18th for a 10 night stay and the first available slot wasn't until Dec 25th or after. Though a few folks had chosen dates after the 25th (probably wanted to sleep in on Christmas day) We chose the 25th since we thought it would be super magical and it was!
