There are way too many posts for me to go through the FAQ for WL , I think it is near 1400. Anyway, help on what room to request. We like to be away from everything...don't mind a long walk to bus stop or boat, we just want pretty and quite veiw.We would love to see water pagent from room but if not its ok. Is there a fax # avaliable and anyones attention I should put this to. We are in hopes of an early check in also because we will be spliting stay between FW and WL...I hate to wait in the middle of vaca but I guess it is the price you pay for staying in two resorts on one trip. Thank you so much in advance for your time and help.Oh I have courtyard veiw booked.:D

If you want a "quieter" room you may want to request a room all the way down the end of the hall toward the boat dock. I'm not sure if the "lake view" rooms are considered regular courtyard views or not.

You could ask for a courtyard view as far down toward the end of the hall toward either the boat dock or on the other side of the resort (which is the "villa" side). You should be able to see the water pageant from the rooms facing the lake and even some at the end of the courtyard area if not obstructed.

When it comes to room requests, it depends if it is during the busy season on how well they can fulfill your requests. Checking in early will also be another factor as to how specific your room request is. They try to block off a specific room when you make a request so it depends on when the guests check out of that room and when they clean it as to when it will be available.

When I made a room request our last visit we were lucky and it was ready at 1pm. I faxed the request about 3 days prior to (407) 824-3232 to the attention of the "magical room assigner":teeth:

Thanks so much for the # and advice. I have never stayed at this resort before...just dinner a time or two but I am looking so forward to it!!

We just got back from WL. We had a room overlooking the quiet pool and Villas (4160). It was the next to last room in the wing. It was very quiet.

We stayed in room 5001 last April. This was on the Magic Kingdom side of the building, woodsview, but we could not see the Castle. We were facing the lake and it was a regular room.

It did have an enclosed balcony, but it was nice and quiet. I think it was the farthest from the bus stop, but a short walk to the boat dock.

You could see the geyser, and the lake thorugh the trees.

Next trip, we'll be looking at the Villas.

Cannot wait.

I also wanted a "lakeview" room when we went in July. I asked when making my reservations and was told this is a courtyard category with a preference on your ressie for lakevew. We got exactly what we wanted, room #4167. It was wonderful to watch the activity on the lake and see the sunrise. It was a long walk down the hall from the elevators but well worth it to us! There is a stairwell that you can use to exit near the pool and beach which we used alot.

Your room sounds nice. We are staying at WL first time, could you see the water parade from your room? Fireworks? We have woods view too, we may request it. THANKS! :)

Thanks so much for all the posts you guys. I really wanted a wood veiw but they did not have any avaliable...when I look off my balcony the last thing I want to see is more people. ;) I love AKL for that very reason but no chance getting in there on a last minute trip with AP rate.
