Wilderness Lodge deluxe rooms

Can anyone give me some information on the deluxe rooms at the Wilderness Lodge? This is the only type of room my family of 5 will fit into at WL. I know it's 2 rooms with a connecting French door. Does each room have a balcony? Where are these rooms located? Did you feel they were worth the money or is it better to just try and get 2 connecting rooms? Any information is appreciated. Thanks for the help.

We stayed in a deluxe at WL several years ago. There are balconies in each room, however, one is standing only. In the parlor side, you have a pull out sofa, chairs and table, and a mini fridge and sink. There is only one bathroom. If you can get a good price for standard rooms, it would be cheaper to get two of those, guaranteed connecting for families. I don't believe they have too many discounted deluxes since there are not many of them.

I'm not sure where they are located. Ours was on the corner in the back overlooking the pool and geyser. It was very nice and quite a lot of room. If we were to go back, I'd choose whatever option came out the cheapest.

The Deluxe rooms are located on the corners of the building at the very ends of the wings facing out toward the lake. There are some on the corner near the number 10. Though they are facing the lake not all will have a clear view of the water. The North side rooms have a gorve of trees in front of them though you can see the water through the trees. The south side rooms have a couple of trees that can obstruct the view from some rooms. The ones near the number 10 have nice views of the courtyard and lake beyond.
The rooms are not huge but they are fun to stay in. They have lots of windows so it is bright inside.
