Wilderness Lodge - December 08 - No woods view rooms?

We are trying to book a trip for December 08 to the Wilderness Lodge. But there are no standard view or woods view rooms available.

Anyone know of a convention or refrub going on at this time?

I really doubt they have released all the rooms for that time yet. From another post a week or so ago, I don't even think they've released October 2008 rooms yet either.

You're pretty far out from Dec. 2008. Try again early in 2008 and you should be able to get what you want. I booked our upcoming October 2007 Woods View room with bunk beds in May of this year.

We went ahead and booked courtyard view rooms for that week. And we plan to move those reservations to the woods view when they come open.

I agree - no wya have all the rooms been released yet. I normally book Dec. about 5 months in advance and always have plenty of WL options.

I have a theory about this... I'm convinced WDW releases the most expensive tiers of rooms first, figuring at least some folks won't know there are other options and will book whatever they find. Don't fall for it!

We have had our WL reservations booked since Feb 12. We were able to get a standard room booked for Dec 8 - 16. We tried when the discount codes were published to see if we could get it cheaper and they said we could if we moved to AK or another deluxe but not through WL. Oh well...I am too excited to see the WL so I declined the move.

I am also going December 2008, the 23 through the 30th and I had no choice except to book courtyard bunk bed room, although I wanted woods with bunk beds. My TA said more would open up soon, but now I think I am sticking to the courtyard, my husband likes the idea better, he thought maybe there would be decorations throughout the courtyard area that we may see from our room.

I'm trying to book November 08 at Thanksgiving time and I'm running into the same problem. I'm hoping everyone is right and that they release a bunch of rooms later. Although I'm not sure I totally understand the logic of holding back on a bunch of them. Disney could get all our deposits earlier and be earning interest!!!

Doesn't make a lot of sense does it!

I looked at Contemporary also and all of their rooms don't' show up either.

I was also looking for 2008. No All Stars have a pref. room available for Oct. 4-12 2008. I hope all rooms have not been opened up yet.
