Wilderness Lodge christmas tree

Hi,

We are arriving from the UK on Saturday for our first ever Christmas time vacation (so excited), we are staying at the Poly for 6 nights and wanted to pop over to Wilderness Lodge to see the tree and decorations but not sure of the best way to get there! I assume we wouldnt be allowed to park there without a dining reservation so would our best bet be to go to MK and then get the boat over to WL? Not sure of any other options??

Take the monorail to the MK then grab either a boat or a bus.

The boat from MK to WL is absolutely lovely! I would do that in lieu of the bus. Also, consider taking a boat to Ft. Wilderness (from MK or from WL after 3 pm) and see the decorations there including the RV holiday decorations - it's really wonderful.

Skip the bus and take the boat! Bring a sweater or light jacket in the evening or on a cooler or cloudy day!

Unless it’s hot and then take the bus for the AC! I roasted on that big boat last Dec from MK to WL as there was no air circulation and we were crammed in like sardines.

Those boats aren't pleasant when it's hot, no matter how scenic is it.

Take the boats! The boats add to the atmosphere and experience. Sit outside if it's hot- and even if it's not! WL at Christmas is on my bucket list! Have a great trip!!!
