What is the average time from WL to each park (excluding Mk, as we will be taking the boat)? Trying to figure out timing for early morning hours.

Does WL always share busses with Fort Wilderness? We will be there in July.

Wilderness Lodge doesn't share a bus with Fort Wilderness. There is a bus that goes to the Fort and back, but they don't share when it comes to the theme parks or Disney Springs. I would also recommend taking the bus to MK vs. the boat like others on here have said. They come way more frequently and is around a 5-7 minute ride.

I drove to AK when I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in September so I'm not sure about that park in particular but for Epcot and HS expect the ride to be about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

WL use to share with GF. No idea if or when they will bring this back. Also CR shared with Poly.....
The bus rides to EPCOT and HS as above are around 10-20 minutes same for all the MK resorts as it depends on traffic, lights and also the route the bus driver takes that can change based on Traffic. AK will be the longest ride as with people staying at AKL it is on the other side of WDW. If they start sharing again except a longer ride however you will usually only see this when you go to the parks later in the day morning they usually never shared.

Wilderness Lodge does share a bus with the Contemporary coming back from Disney Springs.

I didn't know that, so that's good to know. My group drove to DS so I wasn't aware. I was just answering OP's question as to whether Wilderness Lodge and the Fort share busses.

It's hard to predict any timing with Disney transportation on buses in particular. It's not unusual to have extended waits just for the bus to arrive to pick you up. The actual trips themselves are probably in the 15-minute range or something like that. Never actually timed it.

I would say about 10-15 minutes drive time, but the wait for a bus is not as easy to judge. For early hours, I have seen enough people waiting that when I arrive it could be the 2nd or 3rd bus before I would get on or I have been the first waiting. You just never know. I would plan to be at the bus stop at least 15-20 minutes before early hours start for the park you want to go to.

Thank you all very much! I must have dreamed that WL and FW shared 🤪

When I stayed at Wilderness Lodge pre-COVID, I needed to get to Epcot in the early evening to meet up with friends. I got on the Epcot bus at Wilderness Lodge at about 5:00. There was a kid on the bus who looked like he was about to throw up, so I wanted to get off that bus. The bus stopped at Fort Wilderness, and I got off the bus there.

So Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness did share at least some buses at some times of day in the past.

We just got back from WL a few days ago during Easter week. Bus stop #1 is for Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness. We went to the Fort a lot this trip and there were 2 times where the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness bus were combined and it was during non-peak hours (late morning and afternoon). All of the other times the Fort bus and the Magic Kingdom bus from WL were separate.

We also had a bus from WL to Disney Springs that was shared with the Contemporary as well- this was during peak hours (just before 10am when DS opens) and the bus was 90% full of WL passengers before we even got to the Contemporary.

Do you have any idea if there were direct busses from WL to Typhoon Lagoon? I believe I've read that we would need to ride to Disney Springs and transfer there.

Ive been know to use Uber/Lyft a lot with the Lodge. Its particularly easy with Hollywood Studios and to other resorts. But I have never had too many problems with the buses. The actual bus rides do not take that long
