Wilderness Lodge booking question

Hey all I was hoping someone could help me out with what I need to book. We have stayed at the villas several times and each time my mother has said some day she would love to stay in the actual lodge. I am going to surprise her this summer with 6 nights at the lodge. The most important factor would be for her to have a balcony to sit on with a nice view. Can anyone tell me what category I need to book?

If you want a view of the pools, ask for an inner courtyard view. We had a room just off the lobby and the view was spectacular.

Courtyard has great views of course but Woods views can also be nice and much quieter.

Something to keep in mind of is that you will be able to hear everything going on during the day at the pool if you're in your room during the day. We would usually leave the pool and start getting ready for dinner around 430 or so and we could hear all the games and the music. If you or your mother likes naps, this might not be the best. In the end, I wish I hadn't bothered paying for the "pool view" and just gone with standard or woods view.

We had a lovely woods view our last stay. We were on the side closest to Roaring Forks, about 1/2 way down. We overlooked a little pool. There was an actual gater in it one day! Mostly, it was birds, etc. We could see wishes through the trees. It was very quiet.
