Hi,

Can anybody who has been to WL at Xmas before please tell me a bit about what the resort is like and how well it is decorated?

Thanking You.

Even if you haven't been at Xmas before can you tell me:

What are the concierge rooms like, we have one booked for xmas on floor 7, I think.

Are there any character 'meet and greets' in the resort?

Is there anything you need to book in advance at the resort?

Is there Valet Parking, how much does this cost, do you need to book it?

Thank-You for any information you can share!!

I can't help you out other than to say check wdwig.com
she does have some xmas decoration pictures of WL
I am looking forward to finding out first hand what they look like
11/30 - 12/7/02

The conceirge rooms are the same as a reg guest room in size.

Valet parking is available for $6.00 per day.

There are character meet and greets held in the lobby, I am unsure of the times and days for this. As mentioned above check www.wdwig.com for the schedule.

The WL is my personal favorite in Christmas, it is absolutely beautiful!!! The link above also has pics but I personally would want to just walk in and see them. They are fabulous!!! :)

If you have time you might inquire at check in about becoming flag family. My kids really enjoyed this. You meet in the lobby of the designated morning , go to the top of the resort and put up all the flags. It's a great opportunity for some fabulous pics and you get a certificate to comemorate the event.

I would also try for a courtyard view, the courtyard as strings of lights on the trres and it is just so beautiful to sit on your balcony at night and enjoy!!!!

WL ios beautiful, as you drive up to the lodge, you see a huge wreath outside. As you enter the lobby, the tree is there, oh magnificant.

There are wreaths around the lobby, one over the fire place, there are reindeer decorated.

You'll love it at Christmas, but don't forget to visit the other resorst to see their decorations.

How long do they keep the decorations up? We won't be there until Jan11th-14th. We may miss them :(

richard 3330, we will be staying wl concierge for xmas too! 12/21-12/30. can't wait...
i posted on the faq a few days ago, asking if any one had stayed on the conc. floor recently, but didn't get any responses.
this wil be our 3rd xmas at wdw. all the resorts are so beautiful!
maybe we will see you there!!

I've been 2 times at X_Mass....there are Holiday Musical entertainment in the Lobby each night...carolers, bell ringers, musicians. There is also the most extravagant Gingerbread house village with chocolare reindeer and a train that goes all around it.It is truly the most "Christmassy" feeling resort at WDW!!:)

Thanks everyone, for replying.

DWDEB: Hope to see you there!!, we are travelling 12/27 - 01/04.

Pollyanna:Thanks for the info, I am really excited now!!!!

If you get a chance, take look at the Coronado Springs and Grand Floridian resorts. Their decorations are also wonderful as well. My favorite, though is WL.
