We are telephoning tommorow to see if we can upgrade to a concierge room on the 7th floor.

Richard: I would call now to upgrade your ressie rather than waiting. I've never been at Christmas, so I don't know how crowded it may be. I'm just not one to wait and hope.

WL does have a VP and Presidential Suite -- if $$ is no object. I've seen pictures of the Prez suite and it is fantastic, amazing, awesome, wonderful ... WOW!! I don't know where these are located... maybe a WL expert can let you know.

My DW and I really enjoyed the Villa suite we stayed at in May. It was a jacuzzi suite which was great after a long day at the parks.

...to check out the "NEW Wilderness Lodge FAQ!!!" thread from time to time (and post there, too!!). There are a great bunch of DIS'ers who post there; especially 999ghsts ~ she is absolutely a GODSEND!!! They also offer a $199 watercraft Pkg. for up to 5 persons for unlimited use of the water mice and pontoon boats, as well as some other items. AspiringCindy was in room 6043 (it had bunks) as well as my DS's room, #6049, which had bunks, too. Don't forget to post about your trip when you get home!! Then you can add "WL VET" to your siggie....

Thanks everyone for your excellent tips.

I've contacted WDW CRO and I have reserved a Concierge Floor room. It was fairly expensive, but seen as we will be there for Xmas Day it will be a lovely treat. Then we move on for the second part of our vacation to... The Poly Concierge!! YEY!!
