Hi!

Can anyone give me any pros/cons on these cabins with more than 2 people staying in them? :thanks:

Well I thought the whole point of the cabins was that they accommodated more than two people, more like six I believe. I know they have a kitchen area so you can prepare meals yourself. And Fort Wilderness is a beautiful area. The only con to the cabins I can think of is that they only have one bathroom. For less money you could get connecting rooms at a value resort.

We stayed in the cabins several times when the kids were little. We loved them. Hubby and I took the murphy bed in living room, we were able to watch tv and wind down at night, while the kids were sleeping in the bedroom. The full kitchen was great, we would alternate grabbing a quick breakfast while we showered and got ready to head to the parks. One bathroom wasn't a problem at all for us (party of 5). Now that they have added the decks and charcoal grills to each cabin I bet they are even a better place to stay.

We always rented a golf card to get around, that was excellent. Ya just gotta love fort wilderness.

They also have TVs in the bedrooms of the cabis now, as well as DVD/VCR combos in the living room :happytv:

The grill and kitchen are great if you are going to have "off" days from the parks, and the cabins are a lot more private than normal hotel rooms. Of course, Fort Wilderness is HUGE so a golf cart is good. Without one you will have to use the internal bus system, but unless you are the type of person who is always in a hurry they arent bad. :moped:
