Wild West Stunt Show

Guess it was just the ol' out with the old & in with the.... in with, uh.... well, every park needs an empty stadium.
Would like to hear any good plans myself!

I figured it was something like that. Too bad, I thought it was a cute show. Now they don't have any stunt type show....

Ok It's been about 5-6 years since I've been to the studios. Last time I was there, well the second to last time I was there, they had an actual Ghostbusters attraction. I know that is now gone. What is this show you talk about so much??? I have to know. I don't want to miss anything! Hee hee.... :hyper:

lol. Check out the "Lets Talk and Drool Over the Ghostbusters" thread, the "Barry!!!!!! Oh My God!!!!!!!!!" thread too.

The Ghostbusters Show has like nothing to do with the movie, but if you realize it, plus don't mind watching a few cute guys for about 12 minutes, you may just happen to like it. ;) It's nice since it's a pointless show. Fun too. Did I mention cute guys?

:rotfl:

There was an Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon that did not do well, if I'm not mistaken. However, the Ghostbusters are generally recognized anyway. :)

Universal released this statement a little while back:

Wild, Wild, Wild West Stunt Show

UPDATE** Universal to Close Wild West
ORLANDO (Orlando Sentinel) - Universal Studios is packing up its six-shooters and closing its Wild Wild West Stunt Show after 12 years and 17,000 performances. A replacement for the live attraction, which featured a cast of rough-and-tumble characters in a 19th century setting, has not been decided. "We have a couple of terrific ideas," but a final decision has not been made, Universal spokesman Jim Canfield said. The show's 10 contract performers and six staff members will be given the opportunity to audition and apply for other jobs at the parks. Universal also plans to close the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad at Islands of Adventure during the month of October to make way for Halloween Horror Nights, Canfield said. The Sinbad show will return in November.

**Something else that you guys should check out is this link...although the firing date has come and gone....
