I talked to Linda(Babe) this morning and she was complaining of the cold. But, she's enjoying her vacation at Wilderness Lodge.

Oh I forgot to mention ... I e-mailed Sunny to confirm his prices and he said it is still $25/person (I think Jan said it was $30). Jan, maybe he remembers how much trouble you cause and jacked yours up!!!!

I'm sure you must be right, Shell!!! Even the extra $10 for Dave and me is worth it!!! Just an FYI for those going on Sunny's tour, the restaurant is closed at Sapphire Beach. However, there is a gift shop/party store for snacks, beverages, etc. And, most importantly, the restrooms are open at the hotel.

Does anybody know that number of the ship?? I want to give it to my mom.

Lynn - It's 1-888-DC-ATSEA. It costs $6.95 per minute and if your mom calls you they will ask for a credit card before connecting. We called out from the ship one time because we had problems getting in touch with MIL while in Key West and had no choice, talked for less than a minute. And we didn't get charged! Not sure how that happened but we figure pixie dust.

So for those of you still following the continuing saga of my poor sickie DD Emily, she's on her way to the doctor's now. Mostly as a precaution that there isn't an ear infection brewing since she has had more than a few of those over her short little lifetime so far. We should almost always just schedule a Doc's appointment the week before flying because it never fails that she doesn't develop "something" that looks like it might be an ear infection, cough, bronchitis or some such thing everytime we go away. So, fingers crossed and pixie dust that all is well. We're getting used to this after having our first DD NEVER get sick (still doesn't). It's amazing how different 2 kids can be. And first DD went to daycare full time from 6 months to four years and she was never sick. This DD goes part time - 2 or 3 days a week at the most and she started later. Go figure.

Anyone else going to try to upgrade at the port? Seems from reading the main board that lots of folks have been successful at that lately. We may give it a shot if we get there early enough. How early do you think we need to get there?

Lynn - Did you see my post on the main board about getting on the first bus if you are at the Hyatt. Someone responded saying that you have to get your name on a list to make sure you know which bus you are on....Since the last time we just got off a plane and onto our bus, I had no idea that was necessary. Check out the thread on the main board. It's called "First Bus" and is near the top because I just posted another question.

I just got back from taking Minnie for a chilly walk then to the pharmacy to pick up the last minute refills on prescriptions. Packed one suitcase and will do the other later this afternoon.

They have probably been talking to people from my past cruises
I can be a MEAN old lady when I have to!!

That's the experience of raising 4 kids and beingmarried to an arnry old cuss for so many years

I'm sure DS will be fine. I remember my kids doing that a few times too and it was really scary. But as was already said, if he isnt vomiting, extra tired or dialated eyes, do worries!! Thank goodness we have a thick skull.
