Wild Turkeys and Dancing Banana Heads Cruise 11/25/06

No pirate outfits here - I'll be wearing clothes, but exactly what? Haven't a clue.

Bob - for your mosaic, do you just want this cruise or any cruise? If any, I can burn you a cd.

No dinner at Grills for us, I'm afraid - we'll still be at the world, probably eating leftovers out of the villa kitchen. Our 'newbies' will be at Cirque so it can be a quiet evening of getting ready to sail!

As far as Pirate Night....right now it looks like only DS will be decked out. He has a Captain Hook costume from last year so that's easy. As for the rest of us...well Don's words were "But I don't wanna be a Pirate"....Seinfeld fans anyone???? I bought some really cool Pirate tatoos and that's probably all me, Don and DD will be wearing.

On a VERY positive note.....I got a formal dress for DD today and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. It was VERY reasonably priced and the best part is...it fits!!!

Off to take DS to youth group and then running home to make dinner for the rest of us.

Mine is a ladies with a skirt, wish it had pants but havnt found anything that will work for it so far, maybe before the cruise I may find some pants for it.
The breeze out on the deck makes it kind of dangerous to wear a skirt!!

I hope I can keep up with all the acticvities planned. Some one will just have to remind me about things I am planning on haniging out on Monday with all of the ladies. I will have to keep a special activities calendar to keep track of whats going on. Is there a wine tasting on this cruise?


Is Karaoke on Tuesday night?

Bob the mosaic sounds great. My Dh can be in charge of that.

My tiara will be the cheapest and cheesiest it's plastic I guess I will still wear it. I may buy another, but right now I am thinking I need to save all my $$$$ for the cruise.

I got some supplies for door signs finally. The girls and I will work on them this week. Also got the girls packed

For pirate night the girls will be dressed up. I got DH and I a black Tshirt and was going to try to paint(trace) a skull and cross bones on it. I don't know how it will turn out. DH and I will be wearing the bandannas they hand out too. Not going to crazy with the pirate thing. I am just running out of time

Okay, I'm a doofus for asking at this point, but what is up with the tiaras? Are the women (other than Wally) all wearing tiaras? Is one from the party store okay or do I have to do a "home invasion" on a beauty queen?

Also.....and frankly this is much more important. As much as I am impressed with Emmit....Mario MUST win, my son's Dance Studio is where he is filmed, and I have devotion, DEVOTION I tell YOU!! Mario be the MAN!

Not EVERywoman, but some are wearing Tiaras - Could be party store OR beautyqueen either way. www.glitterdiva.com or www.tiaratown.com will give you some ideas from the ridiculous to the sublime!

Not much goin on here. Just tryin to keep these dogs under control....

Oh...my DD called today...the soldiers get a 2 week R&R while out in Iraq...the army sends them home...so she told me her's would be in April.....
When she called today...she said that it had been moved up and will be home right after Christmas..... so I am happy......Louie will be happy....ummm maybe she can take him with her? So now I think I will put my christmas tree up.....

Gotta go and let the dogs out....

AM - shop/walk around Phillipsburg
PM - Dave and Bob are going on the fishing excursion

9 am - 4 pm - Sunny Liston

Thursday - Day at Sea
More R&R
Start packing so there's not much packing to do on Friday

Friday - CC
Enjoy the adult beach and adult lunch
Go to my favorite bar in the whole wide world -- Heads Up (great photo opportunities on the deck at Heads Up)
Approx. 10:30 pm - Pub Night (a/k/a CM Talent Show)

Saturday - Back to Reality
Since we have a late flight - 8:20 pm - we plan to visit the quaint shopping district in Cocoa Beach (thanks to Shirley of the Perfect Gift for directing us there last year) and possibly visiting an outlet mall.

For all you early birds, I can usually be found near the deck 9 coffee station each morning reading a book, gazing out at the ocean and wishing I didn't have to go back to reality. Anyone is welcome to join me.
