I know we turkeys & nanas will be having too much fun to sweat the small stuff.
Just remember.....Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweatty stuff! :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

after 7 hours my internet finally came back on line!!! :thumbsup2
Lynn,
I wasnt sleeping, I was :badpc: my computer until I realizes it was my server, NOT me!!
I love DS picture, so CUTE!!! :cloud9:

Bob, yes I think you would do that!!
Your the sneaky mischievous kind, just like me!! :rotfl:

You men work too hard at packing all those socks and underwear. What ever happened to just turning them inside out and turn them around a couple of times!!
The men in my house could give you some good tips!!
When things get to where they can stand up on their own, you just buy new stuff, no need to worry about laundry either.
After all this is vacation, right???

Denise, I hope Bob's foot gets better soon. I just got back from getting Minnie's toe nails clipped and filed. She was NOT a happy pup!!!

The 12 year old played by Angus Jones on Two and Half Men made this comment one time when asked about changing his underwear:

Jake: I can get four days out of one pair
Alan: How?
Jake: Easy, frontwards, backwards, inside out frontwards, inside out backwards!

I thought I was going to fall off the couch laughing! :happytv:

Good Gravy!! Busy day ... lots of meetings so far ...

Good Day Banana Heads

What did I miss? Well, looks like male packing tips for one. Jan, nicely done :thumbsup2 . Bill knows darn well if he doesn't pack himself that things will not magically appear at our destination. And I never check what he's packing, so heck, for all I know it may be just 1 pair of underwear that is recycled daily :crazy2:

Cheri ... appreciate your willingness to learn A Christmas Story before the cruise line-by-line :lmao: . Truth be told -- and you can't share this with anyone else on the board -- I'm simply copying and pasting the full quotes in my avatar! Heck, I can't remember all that stuff!

Shell: I haven't seen much on the men's to - do lists that impress me. Where's Jeff's list??? On the 9/04 Magic, Dave, who does his own packing, forgot to pack slacks. He wore shorts to dinner (gasp!!!) and bought a pr. of black slacks at Treasure Ketch. Too funny -- at least I thought so!

5 Weeks from Today...............

We will be flying out of cold cold Toronto down to :sunny: :sunny: Orlando and you all will be having your Turkey Day feast and watching football! I still think we will end up having Chinese food that night - ah well, I will consider it a homage to the dinner scene from 'A Christmas Story'. :rotfl:

This new job is killing me - I will definately need this vacation.

So...my list....
pirate: pick up our matchy-poo WDW outfits from the Cleaners (press only, you don't want to see me with an iron!)
pirate: Order DHs tux online (tried to do this today, got all the measurements but they want his jacket size - what the heck did they need the measurements for  if he had a jacket I wouldn't need to order the tux!!!!)
pirate: Wait for DSs tux to arrive in the mail - and buy a bow tie for it.
pirate: Make sure my 'planned' outfits still fit
pirate: Haircut and Pedi (and maybe a little rippy-rippy)
pirate: Order basket from Shirley
pirate: Try and find watershoes for DH and DS (might wait until we are in FL, where I expect they will be more plentiful than in Toronto in November LOL)
pirate: Finalize our Pirate outfits and pack them away (ordered mine from ebay today :thumbsup2 )

OK....that's enough for now....there are TONS more things but I am stressing myself out!

Looks like Lampy isn't going to be able to join us after all....found this on the Turkey 2007 thread:

Hey all, Ya Willie....still "off" on Wednesdays but yesterday had to go in and interview a new F&I guy smack in the middle of "Millertime".....you know....noon! LOL
Looks like the cruise thing this fall isn't going to happen....we are going to a neighbors cabin in crysal mountain (Michigan) for Thanksgiving weekend and we have a BIG new car showing the following week. Probably going to take a 4 or 5 night "Beaches" vacation during x-mas break. The girls REALLY want to sail so I'm trying to work on something for spring break......If not the next available is THIS sailing for us!

well at least we know he didn't fall off the earth LOL :teeth:

I just want to brush up since it's been 10 months since last watching it. (The ol' memory ain't as good as it used to be. :rotfl: ) I remember my younger brother quoting the entire Scott Farkus scene (the first encounter "He had yellow eyes, so help me, he had yellow eyes. . .") when he was about 4 years old! He was also quite good at Ghostbusters and Fletch!!!!!!

See how I'm focusing on the important things before the cruise?

Later!

:cool1: Was our post goal 4000 or 5000??? If 4000, we only need 147 - less than 4 per day!!!! :cool1: :cool1:

You don't want to see my list. I am a chronic overpacker...even when I travel on business..which I do a lot...i'm alway worried that I might spill coffee on a pair of pants so I bring an extra...Shirts..I want a choice. I don't want to have to wear everything I bring...I may not be in the mood! :rotfl: Shoes. Oh boy. Shoes I can never coordinate things so I only have to bring a couple pairs. On the cruise, it's sneakers for working out, flip flops for the beach and pool, dress shoes for formal night, loafers for other dinner nights..and maybe boat shoes coz I'm on a boat! :rotfl2:

Anyway..you get the picture. I always b-itch and moan at my family for overpacking...since I carry the suitcases..but I'm just as bad as the ladies in the family..if not worse!

Good Night All,
Well I am off to watch TV with DH amd give DS his last bottle. Talk to you all tomorrow...

P.S. Sorry for the typo :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: !!!

Evening all:

Kathy: I dont know how Bob's foot is doing? Bob how is your foot.....

Jack is my dog's name.... :rotfl: hey dont feel bad. After we had gotten Jack, he was probably a year or two old, my sister (yes Marge) sent me an email. She asked me how Sam was, Sam is our dog that we had to put down a week before we got Jack. So I mailed her back and said, I dont know, he's dead. But Jack is doing ok. :rotfl: She got a really good laugh out of that. Jack's foot is ok. still limping and still not looking much better, but he seems to be doing ok with it.

Not much going on here, watching some tv and then yippee going to bed. I get off work at 11:30 tomorrow, have to work 4 hours saturday  but I do like getting off early during the week.

Later
