Wild Turkeys and Dancing Banana Heads Cruise 11/25/06

HI everyone!

Tonya, love the new design! The turkey was very "cute," but I agree with Wendy -- the nana is more "us"!!

Sarah -- good trivia for A Christmas Story! Last night as I was about to sit down to eat, I had to get up to get a milk re-fill for DD, and ketchup for DH, and the words, "My mother hadn't had a hot meal for herself. . ." ran through my mind!! Too bad I hadn't made meatloaf and mashed potatoes! At least DD doesn't have to pretend she's mommy's little piggy in order to eat! Could make for interesting dining on the Magic!

Better go -- PTO meeting tonight at DD's school. Better TiVo DWtS just in case the meeting runs long! I do have my priorities!

Good Evening All!

Still raining in mid-Michigan. Another gloomy day here. Just makes me want to be in Orlando sooner than 11/24.

Tonya -- I love the new design! Another yes vote.

Jeff, Linda and Kathy -- Count me in on not knowingmuch on TV at all, except for news shows. I know nothing about the reality shows, ER, Desperate Housewives, etc.

Eight weeks from today, we will be cruising after leaving St. Thomas. I don't like sea day on Thursday on the Eastern, as there's only one day left of the cruise.

Well we got everything settled with DH drivers license and our bank cards. We did get another call today from one of our other credit cards...some activity on there yesterday...what a pain..but we have everything pretty well cancelled and straightend out so hopefully this will be the end of this mess.

I talked to Ron last Wednesday he was on the way to get his daughter from school. He just got a promotion and is completely swamped. He is not sure whether or not he will be on the ship with us, but he has his "girlfriend" looking out for us either way. (he has a connection of some sort at Disney). He said he would check in, maybe I should post his cell # and we could all call him. If we did we would drive him to .

Boy, that PTO meeting was almost a bust. Not that I'm an expert, but the president might need to brush up on parliamentary procedures and meeting agendas! A 30-45 minute ended up taking well over an hour. And what's worse, I don't feel llike a whole lot was accomplished. (and by the way, there were only about 10 people there! ) Good thing I taped DWtS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooooooo, how did Sara manage to stay on the show??? Up till now, the people voted off have been questionable at times. Although Vivica wasn't at her best last night, she still should've survived. (OMG -- how pathetic do I sound?? I'm actually critiquing the results .)

Don't worry, I don't watch Lost or any of the other "hot" shows!! (I'm slightly embarassed to say I do watch a teenager show called Degrassi, The Next Generation on occasion! )

Good Morning Nana Heads ,
Wow, again I beat Pat and Kathy!! I guess you guys are sleeping in today !! Well today it is going to be in the 50's and sunny here in NY. I am going to do alittle more X-mas shopping at the outlets and be home in-time for the Yankees game at 1pm. Last night was sooooooooo nice because I went to bed and 9pm and Ds did not get up till 2am but then he is up for the day at 6am. Well talk to you all later..

Lynn, yep I was late posting today.
The past few days I have to get Minnie's medicine ready and give it to her, then get my prescription ready and take it, plus all the regular stuff so it has been taking me longer to get to my laptop. I am still up by 5, just not on the computer.

The pictures are soooo cute!! I cant believe he s 5 months old already. It seems like you just announced he had arrived!!!

suppose to be a HOT day again, but cooling this weekend. I am tired of the hot weather, so I really hope it will be cooling off soon.
