Hi Everyone

STEVE - GREAT NEWS!!!! :Pinkbounc I'm very happy for you and your family!

Lynn - Lots and Lots of coffee!!! :coffee:

JOELIDOL - You sound like a very bright kid. I look forward to meeting you.

It's another beautiful day here in NJ. Brisk and cool in the morning and then abundant sunshine in the afternoon :sunny:

Tomorrow we are heading in NY and it's supposed to be another great day! We are going to the Intrepid Air & Space Museum and then out to dinner with the kiddos.
Sunday will be spent at my Mom's celebrating her b-day.

Hey guys - do the math! September-October birthdays - go back 9 months - yep that's right - December/January - it's COLD in many parts of the country. People need to "SNUGGLE" up ya know - "wink. wink" (DD was born in October!)

Not much else going on around here. I just wanted to say hi and keep that post count going.

Kelly

Shell - Loved the cat and the fan story :lmao:
Also, I hope the test and x-ray you had turned out ok.

Yeah for Laura :cheer2: I know it's because of all the extra thoughts and prayers that were sent her way along with the pixiedust: and :grouphug:

:bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: :bday: to each and everyone who is having one yesterday, today, and tomorrows. I can't believe how many people are celebrating birthdays this week. Have to tell you, Nov. is the best month of all! :goodvibes

The slumber party is the best for little girls. Our dd had one when she was about 11 and it was great. The girls brought some of their mom's make-up with them and the first girl to fall asleep...well, you can guess what happened to her :rolleyes1 Then in the morning my dh and I hit the sleeping girls with silly string. Don't know if they make that anymore, that was 16 years ago. Oh my, just made myself feel older. We bought some painters hats, material markers, paints, and jems and let the girls design their own hats. They really enjoyed that. Boy do I miss those days. Time really does fly by little mommys...enjoy each day, or in Lynn's case each night

Lucinda - hope all is well your way.

Kathy - your cake sounds very good right now. I can't believe I haven't had a peanut butter cup in 2 days...although, today is still young. It's a cracker barrel night! Friday fish. We usually go with Stephen and Esther on Friday evenings. Are we on tonight Stephen?
If you're there Stephen, share the story about Bo and the candy kisses :bitelip:

OK, so OCD me booked the Doubloon - even though I had to fudge DSs b'day to get us there. Not sure if that will fly or not, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. He'll be 2 mos shyof 5 for goodness sake. Anyway, hopefully the Laughing Place Police do not come and get me LOL.

I think we will still do St Maarten on our own. We have more time in that Port and I am OK with taking our little jaunt to Lotterie Farm on our own - at least for now.....I reserve the right to change my mind LOL! :teeth:

Yeah, I had typed it in earlier but something happened and it wouldn't post.

I have a little peek-a-poo that I've had for about 12 years. We had gone somewhere, and while we were gone, he somehow got ahold of Hershey's Kisses that we kept in a bowl on a table. When we came back there was little silver foil all over the living room floor. Bo had managed to perfectly unwrap each and every one of the Kisses he ate. He did not tear one piece of foil, not only that but the little strips of paper that poke out of the top of the candy was sitting next to each wrapper. We still can't figure out how he did it. By the way we called the vet and they told us that Hershey's was "cheaper chocolate" and it wouldn't hurt him. So don't feel bad when you eat a whole bag in one sitting...it's cheaper chocolate and it won't hurt you :thumbsup2

Boy you guys are pretty quiet tonight. :confused3
I am surprized at it being this slow tonight.

Well I hope everyone has a good evening, it is very quiet here tonight too.

Hopefully everyone will have something to chat about tomarrow to keep our posts up.

Good night all!! :upsidedow

Good Evening!!

Steve -- so glad to hear wonderful news about Laura. You and your wife must be so relieved.

Jeff -- Your Panthers will soon be on the field with the Mountaineers. What is our bet going to be???!!!! Tomorrow evening, MSU hosts the Fighting Irish. East Lansing is already busy with ND fans.

Dutch's Mommy -- Trunk Bay is beautiful. Several years ago, we booked the Trunk Bay excursion trhough DCL. It took us about 45 minutes to get there from St. Thomas. While it was a beautiful view/visit to Trunk Bay, it seemed like we were in the boat most of the excursion. Your new excursion sounds like a good choice. Five other ships will be at St. Thomas when we will be there. It'll be a busy island that day.

Early tomorrow morning, I'm heading to the west side of the state to visit two of my GK - Sean and Samie.

Have a great weekend, everyone.

Jan

:wave2: Evening all.....bet you thought I forgot about you....

It was just a crazy day at work.....the afternoon was just long and weird..now I get to go back and work another 4 tomorrow... i'm excited....!!!!

Came home and started to cut lawn, we got about 99 percent thru and it started to pour out......so needless to say we got drenched. I was trying to lock the shed and between the rain and my dripping wet hair...I couldnt even see the lock....it was nuts  came in and the dogs are looking at me like what the heck happened to you...so we got dried up and went out to dinner. Just got home. going to chill then to bed to get up at 6 am.

Steve and Esther fantastic news about Laura..... :cheer2:

Have a great evening will check in before I go to bed.

Hey Jan...how many alma maters do you have?

Sorry. I was laughing so hard about the cat on the ceiling fan that I forgot to post!

:woohoo: Woohoo for little Laura! :woohoo: Thanks for letting us know, Steve!

To add to Bill's story above about Sam and my shoes ... it should be noted that everything else on those loafers remained UNTOUCHED ... except the tassle and the untying! :rotfl:

I have a cat story. Long time ago, I had one of those cats that was just too curious. She'd climb up the stem of the Xmas tree and peer out a branch ... would bring the Kill of the Day in the house ... you know the kind. Well one morning, I'm lying in bed, the ceiling fan is on its slowest speed, and there was like a ledge that circled the room. Somehow she got on the ledge, I barely had my eyes open and saw her ... just sitting on the ledge staring at the fan. I thought, Nah, she wouldn't dare ... closed my eyes .. the next thing I hear is a THUMP. Open my eyes ... the cat is hanging onto one of the blades going round-and-round above my head. What a nut. :rotfl2:

That is a great story :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Happy saturday everyone,

well today Poncho goes home. It will be very lonely for Minnie for afew days. She wont have anyone to torment.

well its suppose to be hot and sunny as usual today, but the sun isnt up yet so I cant tell for sure. Today we will give Minnie a bath, which will ruin her morning. I have never had a dog who hated water so much!!!

well time to get about doing stuff, have a great weekend everyone and I iwll check back later,

Kathy

Good Morning Wild Turkeys!!!

Heading soon to the west side of the state. Can't wait to see 2 of my 6 precious angels.

Jeff -- only 2 -- MSU and WVU. Since WVU is my son and d-i-l's employer, I have to cheer for them. :cheer2: So....are you willing to place a confident bet that your Panthers will win when they play the Mountaineers?

We've been getting a lot of rain in mid-Michigan this week.

Have a great Saturday!

Jan

Good Morning All,

Not too confident at that one Jan... at least not this year. Now when basketball season rolls around, I'll bet the farm on the Panthers vs. the Mountaineers. :-)

Lynn,
the cake was very GOOD!!
Inever know how it will come out as I have re-learned to bake sugar free, low fat, low cholesterol etc... So i have to make lots of changes, but now I am getting pretty good at it. I actually use lots of unsweetened applesauce and some babyfood fruits in my baking. You cant taste them and they replace the fat and moisture.

well of to Petco to get Minnie a much needed bath, then for her mile walk this afternoon. Last night was a 3 mile walk with DH, but I am only good for a mile and I plan on going along this time.

I will check back later to catch up with you guys,

Kathy

Morning... It be Saturday.
Kathy, I see your taking Minnie to get a bath at Petco. My dog, Lucy, get's a bath with a hose, more recently, because she can't stand water. She will get suds everywhere when I would give her a bath in the tub. She knew when it was bath time too because when I put her in the bathroom, she had a strong desire to get outside. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I'm going to take today one hour at a time. This week really wore me out. The AP Us stuff is very hard to do! But one of my friends who took the course last year told me it would get better. I hope she's right!
Talk to you all later, oh and so you have a face to go with my dog...

Happy Saturday Everyone! DW and I are recovering from two VERY late nights. Between the football game on Thurs. night and the Brady Paisley concert last night, we have gotten home at 12:30 2 nights in a row.

And, after going to sleep at 1:30, I had to be up at 7:00 to go to breakfast with some buddies of mine (the He-Man Woman Hater's Club - yes, I had permission).

Hope you all have a great day!
