WE have taken all 4 grandkids on Disney too. It never feels quite the same without them. :guilty: but 2 of them are going with us next month and the other two will be here when we get back for Christmas. They live in Oregon and we are in FLorida so it is very special that for the first time in several years, we will have all 4 kids and 4 grandkids together for the holidays. :grouphug: On this cruise we actually are doing back to back 7 days cruises, just like Feeney on this thread. So we will be going for 14 days, so it's actually 10 and 11 cruises. In 2007 the prices have sky rocketed so these may be our last DCL cruises too, unless they run some good specials. We want to try royal caribbean this spring just to see what they are like. How did you like Carnival? I have been interested in them too. Winter is finally here in Florida, we are only 80 today, but it is cloudy! No snow for us. :cheer2:

How do you do a back to back...with the same room number? I would love to do that!!!

We went on the Carnival Victory and loved it then we sailed on the Trumiph and it was ok(food not as good). My DSis and her Hubby are scheduled to go in March on the miracle. They want us to go but I don't know....we have so much to do this next year already planned it really makes it hard. Bummer!!

Hi Tammy1 - welcome :wave2:

Our DS will be almost 5 when we cruise. Maybe the two of them can get together. I would love it if DS found a friend or two to enjoy the clubs with. We went on the Wonder in Feb when he was just 3 and while he enjoyed the Club, I think he was a bit too young to really get into it. DH and I would love some quiet time, so I'm hoping he really enjoys the Club this time.

Tammy1,
Yes we keep the same room for both weeks, just requested it that way when we booked. We dont even have to get off the ship and get on again. We just have to go to guest relatiions around noon to have our room cards validated for the next week. I'm really looking forward to it.

Wow Kathy that will be great I'll have to try that one time. :goodvibes Everytime we go we seem to take a group of us....at our expense but that's ok. But someday DH and I will try that little move, I really like the idea. Why you could have them meet you on the second week!!!

Thanks for the welcome :goodvibes I wish we could cruise more often than we do now. We try to cruise at least twice a year. But I also love to go to the mountains once a year also. Plus you got to add in there just your weekend for fun get a ways. Guess what you could call us is the people that work just to go on vacation!!! :rotfl:

Hi Tammy1,
I just noticed on your post that you are from Florida. So are we. Were abouts are you?
We are in Poinciana, about 15 miles east of Kissimmee.
Kathy

We're in Lake City, just North of Gainesville, which is North of Ocala.

All you have to do is hop on the ship when the time comes, your really close. We came down a day early and stayed in the Radisson and loved it, will do the same again if not a couple days earlier just to enjoy the pre cruise time.

Hi everyone,

Just checking in to say hi to everyone. Just think 1 year and 2 weeks!! I think I've talked DH into going to WDW for 2 nights prior to checking in to the Radisson at the Port. This way we can have dinner at Chef Mickey's like we usually do on Thanksgving when we are at WDW. Then we will head down to Port Canaveral on Friday morning after sleeping in. Sure wish it was this year but it will be here soon enough. I'm surprised at how quickly the time has went since we were in WDW in July. Before we know it the holidays will be over and we will on an 11 month countdown.

Hello everyone,
We just got back from Magic Kingdom where we met Feenie and her husband and Godson. It was so much fun to meet way ahead of time and now I have a face to go with the name. She is such a nice lady. Then we went on line just in time to see the Wonder go past the two palms web cam. So it has been a great weekend. Just a little over a year and I will get to meet you all, we are getting excited already. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Birthday Mickey!!! :bday: :cake:

I was at MK on Mickey's 75th Birthday on 11/18/03 when they had all the huge statues on showcase that day! Its hard to believe its been two years.

Well its only a week now till the "one year countdown"!! This time next year we will all be busy getting ready to go!! Woo hoo! :cheer2:

Hi everyone,
We are also going to be on this cruise. I can't believe it is a little over a year away. I have three girls and they will be 10,8 and 6. Does anyone else have any kids.

We are Deck 7 in CAt 11.

Hi fourfox,
I also live in PA. I live in Lansdale and our girls are pretty close in age. I will have an 8 year old when we sail.

Hope to get to know you more.

Hi Cindalu,
welcome to our group of cruisers!! Happy to have you with us.
Sorry we dont have any kids with us this time, but I'm sure plenty of others will have..
Is this your first disney cruise?
We have been many times before and are doing a 7 day western next month too. Looking forward to getting to know you over the next year.

mom x4, grandma x4,

Hi Cindalu,
I'm glad you found your way to the thread!! We will definately have to get a few of us PA folks together prior to the cruise for a Pre-meet and greet! Especially since you live so close to me!!

I'm tickled pink to know that a year from tomorrow we will be on our way to Florida!! Woo hoo! Sure wish it was this year! But, I will savor the wait even though the anticipation will kill me!!

We have one DS, but he will be almost 5 when we sail, so probably a little young to hang around with your youngest daughter. DS is a bit 'anti-girl' right now anyway and unless your DD loves Dinos and Monster Trucks DS might not be the best playmate LOL.

Anyway, welcome to the group. We're 2 days shy of 1 year and can't wait!!

Thanks for the welcome.

Mom- This is our second cruise. We went on the Western in May of 2004.

Hope to talk to all soon.

Lucinda
