Nope ... niece and nephew (7 and 8 ... on our Thanksgiving cruise 2005). Mutt and I only have "furry" children, so to speak!

Hi Dutchsmommy,
yes this time of year brush fires are common. We are at the end of our dry season. The rainy season starts in June. But this year we are having a drought so it is much worse than normal. We had a big brush fire near Sea World yesterday. It is finally under control, but the smoke was horrible for the people who were there.
We had rain this morning but not enough to help with the fires.

I am watching it pour down rain with thunder and lightning, which we need really bad here in florida, but the lightning may start more brush fires, that we dont need!
It is a good day to dream of a tropical cruise.

Sorry I havnt got my pictures of the room downloaded yet. I am new at this computer stuff and I usually wait until my son comes around or my DH is here to help me. But I promise i will get to them soon for your DW and you to see.

Hey Kathy, no problem on the pictures. We have 6 months to look at them!

Shell: Here are a couple of pictures. The first is of the last litter of puppies. We have a recliner that the puppies would whine for us to open it up because they liked sleeping under it:

This picture is the puppies grandmother (our 4 year old lab). That is my side of the bed, and my pillows that she is laying in. If I get up in the middle of the night to take a bio break, either her or her daughter will move to laying on my pillows, and then look at me like I am crazy when I tell them to move.

I WANT NEW PUPPIES!

Oh man, Tigger, Bill is right ... you opened up a HUGE can of worms! OH they are SO cute! We miss our lab so much ... we lost him in October and not a day goes past that we don't talk about him. What a character he was! God love him ... at least we know that now he can run and play and isn't in any pain.

Kathy: Bill keeps fondling his new shirt You've created a monster!

Shell: It was INCREDIBLY hard to give all of those boys and girls away. They had some awesome personalities. The good news is that 3 of them are with friends and neighbors, so we should get to see them quite often. I would have kept all 11 of them if I had the room...and the money to feed them!

Bill: Sorry about that man! I should have known she would react that way.

They are sooooocute!!
My son has a black lab too. I let him swim in my pool when ever he comes to visit. DH thinks I'm nuts, but Poncho loves jumping into the pool to fetch his ball.

Our two labs love to disappear down to the creek in the woods behind our house. The creek is no more than about 6 inches deep, but my 65 pound dogs can come home soaked from head to tail!

Hi,
Did anyone see the Today show today? They had a segment on the new Freedom of the Seas ship. It was very interesting to see the pictures of the inside of the ship. Just curious if any of you have any thought on the largest ship on the seas??

It looks like our rain has already left the area. but it did seem to help some of the fires, so maybe people wont have such a hard time getting to the ship after they cut down the dangerous trees today.

Anyone doing anything special this weekend??
We are putting up wallpaper borders in a couple of rooms and the upstairs hallway. Sunday we may go to WDW for mothers day, but not sure at this point. I havnt been feeling too great today,so I'll see how I am on sunday.

Any moms out there go special plans for mothers day??
