Hey Tonya - have you seen the designs from ladylucca on the dda forum? They are amazing! Just an FYI.
That sounds really cool! I doubt they will ever have one in Boise Idaho though! LOLMamaKate said:The meeting was on Friday 3/10 at the Anaheim Pond. It's the first meeting we've gone to because they are usually too far for us to attend. But since it was local, we went. Only my son went with, because he is a Disney fanatic. We got there pretty early, so we got to sit behind all the Big Wigs of Disney. It was actually pretty entertaining, except for the financial portion. They also gave out free admission tickets to Disneyland or California Adventures, which is nice, but we have AP's, so I'll probably give it away. They also had tons of characters & I was mad I didn't bring the autograph books.
My son was in awe that he got to meet an actual Disney (Roy). His life is now complete.
If it's ever in your area, I'd definately take the kids. It's a great learning experience & was pretty fun.

Tonya is totally correct about them having to create a new screen for an individual's name - $$$. Dutchsmommy, what most people did (as we've discussed) was once they received their shirts in the mail, they doctored them to their liking. For example, the weren't able to get youth sizes (maybe smaller than L, XL - don't exactly remember, slept since then.), so they made a dress out of the oversized tshirt. It was really cute. The sleeves and along the bottom were cut into small strips w/ beads on the end. Tonya & Pam, correct me if I'm wrong, but she was also the one that had Tinkerbell wings on the back as well.
Hope everyone is well!

So it sounds like you already have quite a group put together. This is our 2nd DC, the first was last November 2005 over Thanksgiving with my entire family (12 people in all, from 7 to 70). This new one is my 40th birthday present from Hubby and also to celebrate our 10th anniversary. So, just like all of you, we are going pretty much crazy waiting for this damn day to arrive! Our house is inundated with DCL stuff ... books, tapes, DVDs, bookmarks on our favorites ... and we don't even have kids! But you have never been treated as well as you are on DCL!
